This page describes the current Mini Mac Remote app, its Mini Mac Remote Host companion and this website, provided by G Digital.

Your desktop stays on your local connection

The Mac companion captures your main display and sends screen frames directly to your paired iPhone or iPad over local Wi-Fi. Keyboard and pointer input travel back to the Mac. The current app does not send this session content to a G Digital server or include an account system, advertising or third-party analytics SDK.

Pairing information

The Mac stores its pairing credential in Keychain. If you choose Remember this Mac, the iPhone or iPad stores the host identity and pairing credential in its Keychain after a successful connection. Connection preferences and discovery information are retained on the device. Local network discovery advertises a host identifier, not the pairing credential. Sessions use TLS encryption.

Permissions

Screen Recording allows the Mac companion to share your display. Accessibility, or Device Control and Data Access on newer macOS, allows keyboard and pointer control. Local Network access enables discovery and connection. Camera access is used only when you choose QR pairing. QR codes contain a pairing credential; keep them private.

Your choices

You can stop sharing or quit the Mac companion at any time, disable launch at login or automatic sharing, revoke system permissions, forget a saved Mac on the mobile device, or reset pairing in the companion. Resetting the Mac pairing credential invalidates existing pairings.

This website

This site does not add analytics, advertising cookies or tracking scripts. Netlify hosts the site and serves its downloads; requests may be processed in its operational and security logs, including IP addresses and browser request details. App Store links open Apple’s service under its own privacy practices.

Support

If you email us, we receive the email address and content you send and use them to respond to your request. Do not include pairing credentials or sensitive screen content.
